Howdy, I'm Jesse!
I'm an instructional designer who loves meaningful interactions and engagement. I have a mind that analyzes gaps and can collaborate with stakeholders and SMEs to identify learning needs and create interactive and engaging learning strategies. I have a proven ability to develop and deliver ILT, VILT and eLearning that uses adult learning principles and scaffolding techniques that enhance the learning experience and increase performance.
I'm a well-traveled extrovert, and have an abundance of experience in cross-cultural training and facilitation. I've specialized in training in trauma informed centers and have a strong dedication to fostering diversity, equity and inclusion. My travelling and cross-cultural experiences have been very dear to my heart, as they've supported me in fostering a growth mindset, open mindedness and a willingness to seek collective action.
I've always been naturally creative. I have an implicit tendency to use nature as my inspiration, and I'm drawn to earth tones and natural textures. When I'm not focused on creating learning solutions I am usually embracing the beauty of nature and culture, trying a new DIY, pottery, painting, photography, or designing my house into the ultimate zen-den.
